At Dialog, we are on a mission to build the best sales agent for e-commerce.

We believe generative AI is the perfect opportunity to bring the best of the in-store experience online:

We launched on Shopify with Q&A on product pages. In 2026, we’re scaling Dialog to new e-commerce engines and upgrading the experience with smarter qualification, an agent that runs across the entire store, and AI-powered search.

We wrote our first line of code in January 2024, started commercializing in September 2024, raised $4.4M in November 2025 and now have more than 100 paying customers.

The role

We are looking for a Product Designer to help us make Dialog both powerful and effortless to use.

You will work on two deeply connected product experiences.

First, the shopper-facing experience: the interface used by end customers on e-commerce websites across desktop and mobile, with a strong mobile-first, responsive web design mindset. The challenge is to reinvent how users browse e-commerce stores in the era of agentic commerce.

Second, the merchant-facing SaaS platform: the interface used by e-commerce teams to configure, manage, and improve their AI agent. The challenge here is to make complex concepts feel simple: RAG, guidelines, knowledge bases, product linking, qualification flows, conversational analytics, and recommendation performance.

You will be involved across the full design cycle: problem discovery, user research, exploration, prototyping, UI design, handoff, impact measurement, and iteration. We expect our Product Designer to design for both engineers and AI coding assistants, and to be curious about how AI is already changing design roles. You will work closely with the founders, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

This role is for someone who enjoys thinking deeply about product strategy while also caring about the details of a flow, component, empty state, or micro-interaction.
